Developed as a 'broadcast quality' surveillance system VideoLog digital uses a file segmenting technique to efficiently manage multiple video sources and encoders to provide live stream viewing, local storage for 'instant replay' and comprehensive digital tape or DVD archive-replay management. The system is self healing in the event of encoder loss and fully manages synchronised multi-view replay of footage from local disk storage or from the mass storage archive. The replay application is  fully web enabled allowing selected footage to be reviewed at any location.
